For this project, the Client needed a refresh. The goal was to create a new design that represented the volunteer group for the year 2024 that could be used as their logo and applied to SWAG that would be used and worn at SOAK. They also needed two versions of an infographic that were straightforward for team members to study and reference when working a fire perimeter; one that was clean and one that represented the fun and chaos of reality. For the logo design things were kept simple with a max of 4 colors in order to be usable in all forms needed for SWAG. All colors chosen were to replicate the hot fiery burn they would be creating a perimeter around. This perimeter is also represented by each circle, the rounded arrows, and the circle of x’s that surround the fire in the center. The stars and raindrop are there to create a scene while being representative of the name “SOAK”, its PDX founders, and the first SOAK event place, while also speaking for the control of the volunteers which are the true stars.
