PNW Machine Repair
Branding for a local, woman-owned CNC machine repair and maintenance company
This project aimed to create branding for the Client that symbolized the type and quality of work provided while also being representative of her as a new young independent contractor amongst old-school seasoned men, and still feeling local to the PNW community. This led me to the decision to use a bold, young, electric green against a dark, almost earthy black green as the main brand colors. While keeping the complimentary colors (beige and gray) more soft, natural, and clean alongside a blue-green that could merge the worlds of nature and tech. While the colors could speak for the secondary goals; the overall gear, wrench, circuit, and mountain image of the logo is straightforward to the work, tools, and location. The markings making up the logo were kept simple, clean, and precise such as the quality of work provided. The font was chosen for it being bold, and blocky with a mix of sharp and round edges that could be representative of the logomarkings, percise services and the individuality of the Client.
